Main Products of iSTART-TEK
iSTART-TEK’s primary product line includes an EDA tool that can quickly generate memory testing and repair circuits – START, which is an acronym for SoC’s Memory Test and Repair Technology. “Test” refers to “memory testing functions”, and “Repair” refers to “memory repair technology”, including both Hard-Repair and Soft-Repair, two efficient memory repair technologies that can effectively enhance chip yield.

Differences Between START & EZ-BIST
The main difference between START and EZ-BIST is that EZ-BIST only offers the functionality for developing memory test circuits. The primary reason is that different applications have different requirements, and iSTART-TEK aims to provide users with the most suitable tool. It is worth mentioning that, to make EZ-BIST truly “EZ” to use, it supports a GUI mode, allowing users who are not familiar with command-line operations to have a more intuitive and time-saving experience. Additionally, if users are unsure which algorithm to choose, EZ-BIST can refer to the user’s chosen application to provide algorithm selection suggestions, making it really quite easy!

Main Advantages of START & EZ-BIST
In addition to having nearly 40 patents, START and EZ-BIST offer many automated features, including Auto Memory Identification, Auto Clock Tracing, and Auto Grouping. Auto Grouping can be done using default settings or customization based on user needs under different conditions. These advantages significantly reduce the time spent on manual configuration and modifications, allowing users to shorten chip development schedules. We also provide diagnostic functions, EZ-Debug, and a data analysis platform for ATE machines, making it easier for chip developers to get diagnostic analysis and results after memory testing. Moreover, iSTART-TEK’s EDA tools offer advanced features specifically designed for automotive electronics and high-performance computing applications.
