iSTART-TEK (iSTART, TW-6786), a leading developer in memory testing and repairing technology, declared that ASICLAND Co., Ltd. (ASICLAND) had applied STARTTM, an integrated circuit development environment for memory testing and repairing, in their AI chips.

ASICLAND adopts the Bottom-Up Flow, a new function of START, to accelerate the integration of all design blocks in a complicated SoC chip and complete memory testing and repairing circuits. Additionally, START provides a systematic process to complete memory testing and repairing circuits without complex settings. iSTART also offers a Multi-eFuse structure that enables users to repair memories with multiple eFuses. Furthermore, it provides extensive support for a wide range of memory types.Through its professional technology services, iSTART supported ASICLAND in successfully testing and repairing circuits under TSMC’s 28nm foundry process.

Vicky Lee, Sr. Director of iSTART Sales Department, indicated “ASICLAND, one member of Value Chain Aggregator (VCA) of TSMC and an ARM Approved Design Partner (ADP), is a leading company of ASIC and SoC design services. With highly integrated technology and proprietary technology, it focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G, blockchain, and Internet of Things (IoT). Presently, in response to the needs of the times of emerging markets, ASICLAND has invested in a forward-looking AI project plan, and iSTART is honored to participate in it. With the automation function of the START tool, the timely service of iSTART, and effective communication and cooperation with both companies’ R&D teams, even a large and complex SoC can be completed in the shortest time possible.“
